What kind of bug is this? I saw this bug crawling on my desk in my room. I have never seen it before, anywhere in my house or elsewhere. Can someone please tell me what it is? Where it came from & how to get rid of ??

Hi Harmony,
Are you able to provide closer-up pictures? Based off the general body shape and where you found it, it seems like a cockroach, perhaps an oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis). Even just being able to see the legs will allow me to be more confident in my ID.
