Good afternoon,
To keep your potted Gerbera Daisy alive indoors through the winter, place it in a location that receives bright, indirect sunlight for at least six hours a day, as these plants thrive in well-lit environments. Keep the temperature between 60-70°F, avoiding drafts or sudden temperature changes. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry, but ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. Avoid overwatering, as Gerbera Daisies are sensitive to soggy soil. Additionally, maintain indoor humidity levels around 40-50% and prune any dead or yellow leaves to promote healthy growth. During the winter, you can reduce fertilization, applying a diluted balanced fertilizer monthly to keep the plant nourished.
