Our green ash is dropping its leaves. The leaves are still green and branches are bare where leaves has dropped off. The tree has adequate water. Any ideas?

We'd need more information to determine what's causing the premature leaf drop. A number of pests and diseases could account for this as well as environmental stress and unfavorable growing conditions.
Heat and drought often cause premature leaf drop, but neither has been prominent in the Twin Cities area this growing season.
For a proper diagnosis, ask a certified arborist to assess the tree's health onsite and recommend a course of action.
