Lawn turning brown #879227

Asked July 29, 2024, 11:55 AM EDT

My lawn has many more brown grass blades than it usually does. I water the lawn through an irrigation system when it has not rained. Is there something I need to do to remedy? Not sure if this is normal or if I have a disease, fungus or insect problem. Pictures are attached. I would appreciate your advice Regards, Roger Gatchel

Turf leaf spot diseases are common at this time of year and the photos suggest these might be present.  Unfortunately, we can't provide a certain diagnosis by viewing photos.  For a certain diagnosis send turf samples to the University of Wisconsin Turfgrass Diagnostic Laboratory.
