Hello,

The symptoms that your images are describing on your peach tree, such as brown and wilted leaves and mummified fruit, suggest that it might be affected by Brown Rot. Brown Rot is a common and serious disease caused by the fungus Monilinia fructicola. It can infect flowers, shoots, and fruits, leading to the wilting of flowers, cankers on shoots, and rotting of fruits which eventually turn into mummies.

Here’s how you can treat and manage Brown Rot:

Sanitation: Remove all dead branches, mummified fruit from the trees, and plant debris from the ground.

Pruning: During the winter, prune out all cankerous parts of the tree.

Fungicide Application: Apply fungicides during full bloom and two subsequent sprays at 10 to 14-day intervals to prevent infections of flowers and young fruit. Additional sprays are required when the fruit ripens, typically in 7-day intervals until harvest.

Fungicide Selection: Choose a fungicide containing captan or propiconazole that is labeled for use on peaches. Ensure complete and thorough coverage of the tree(s) when applying.

Always follow the label directions when using pesticides, and consider the pre-harvest interval, which is the time between spraying and harvesting.
