Hi. 2 years ago we had 2 cubic yards of garden soil moved to our raised garden. 8' x 40' .. along with the soil came an uncontrollable amount of weeds. we had always had weeds-but not like this. we have removed most of the plants green beans, carrots, onions . Can I spray roundup on the areas with no plants to control weeds for next year, without residual effect ??

Expert Response
You can spray the area with no plants with Roundup, but beware of drift that can affect nearby vegetables. Tomatoes are particularly sensitive.
Also, Roundup comes in several formulations including some that have long-term effects. Read the label instructions carefully and follow them so the product is used only as intended.
