I bought an a Haralred apple tree. It is very healthy and about 9 feet tall. It has two four foot leaders which are very equal in diameter. I am concerned the leaders may need to be pruned back due to their wispy nature. When is the best time and how much should be cut back. I could send a picture from my cellphone.
