I caught a brown spider in a glue trap, and I need help identifying it. This was found in my basement bathroom, so it is a bit more damp and cooler than the rest of the house. I'm located in Bettendorf, IA, so I believe I'm in the range of a brown recluse. I can't see an obvious violin shape, nor can I see its eyes. I included a picture with a ruler; it looks to be less than a half inch in length. Please let me know if this is immediately identifiable. If not, is it possible to bring it to my local extension office (Scott County) in order to get it identified? Thank you!
