How to Eliminate Leaf Miners on Boxwoods #866338

Hi, I have tried spraying Neem Oil in early AM when they are flying around the shrubs, but it didn’t help. Can you please recommend something more effective? Either systemic or spray-on? Thank you, Alice

Hi, 

You can try an insecticide with the active ingredient Spinosad. It is absorbed by the leaves so any insect that tries to bite the leaves will be affected. 

There may be some systemic insecticides that are over the counter that you can look for but most need to be applied by a registered pesticide applicator. You can search for a landscaping company that can provide this service at https://lcamddcva.site-ym.com/search/custom.asp?id=3812
