In the past week we have had two swarms at our church property in Aloha. Both were only there for a brief time before they left for greener pastures . We knew to not disturb them but wondered afterwards if there was a single number we could call to have a beekeeper come and move the swarm. Is there such a number?

There is indeed a number you can call to request a beekeeper to retrieve a swarm. The Oregon State Beekeepers Association maintains a swarm call list for the entire state. Simply scroll to your area to find names of beekeepers willing to answer a swarm call.
