Can you identify this aggressive, thorny, bush/vine in Massachusetts?

Hi,
It looks to me to be a multiflora rose. They are quite thorny and grow very quickly with long stems. Cut back if you can and dig it out. It produces lots of rose hips in the fall - each of which contains seeds.
