Hi Chris,
It is certainly possible, it does appear to at minimum be within the same spider family (Theridiidae). One of the best resources online from Extension is located here: https://www.montana.edu/extension/flathead/documents/ag/spiders-insects/Idaho%20Hobo%20Spider%20bulletin.pdf. If it is a black widow, be very cautious as this is the only poisonous spider species in Idaho.
