This weed comes up all over every year and I spend a lot of time pulling it. Any help you can give in identifying it and preventing it from coming up every year would be greatly appreciated.

Epilobium parviflorum, Small flowered willowherb. This is not classed as an invasive, but it can spread very readily in a moist area in particular. It usually pulls easily, but reseeds vigorously. Pull while very young if possible. Do not let reseed. This is very common in our area. Usually it pulls easily, especially when young.
Oddly enough, it is considered a highly medicinal plant.
