Rabbit manure is GREAT for composting.
Although rabbits do not chew a cud, their manure is similar in appearance because rabbits re-feed on the first passage of manure. They do this so that they can absorb Vitamin C (I think it's C), which they would otherwise be unable to do.
Thus, rabbit manure contains nitrogen, but not in a form that would burn plants, and it is weed free. Be sure to mix it in with some type of brown stuff (deciduous leaves, hay - straw, shredded paper) and as the weather warms, give it a shot of water now and again.
