I have a small coral leaf maple tree. It has two spots on the sunny side of the tree that are ruff & not red anymore. The spots do not extend to the other side of the tree trunk. Thinking it may have gotten sunburned last summer. How can I treat it?

Thank you for your question, Joanne. Are you able to take a clear photo from no farther than 6 inches from the scars? I would also be helpful to know which direction the scars are located. How much sun does the tree het on the summer's longest days? Thanks for more information!
