Is this vine parasitic or invasive #865332

Hi! We just moved to Ohio from Arizona so we're nott real familiar with the state's flora. The house we purchased has these vines in the front yard which appear to have grown up the tree and through the bark... if it's invasive or parasitic, I would like to remove them.

First off - welcome to Ohio!
The pictures you have provided help me identify your plants as a type of golden variegated euonymus. With that being said these plants are not on the invasive plant list for Ohio(nor are they parasitic) and are still being sold as landscape plants at many retail establishments. (however, they are listed as invasive in many eastern states).
It does appear that your planting is very happy in this site as it has gotten somewhat aggressive and could use some containment (pulling off of trees, etc.)
With that being said, I have included the following sites for your use:
https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/euonymus-japonicus/
https://agri.ohio.gov/divisions/plant-health/invasive-pests/invasive-and-noxious-plants/invasive-plants
https://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?taxonid=245673&isprofile=0:~:text=This%20adaptable%20plant%20has%20escaped,to%20plants%20of%20this%20genus
Removal of these vines should be done by hand (off of the trees - so as not to harm the trees). The ground plants can be either dug up or chemically treated to aid in their removal.
Best of luck to you as you settle in to your new home.
