I planted Summer Crush Hydrangeas in 5/19. Good blooms first 2 years nothing on 3 plants the last 2 years. I would really appreciate any tips to help blooming and the proper way to prune them and continue to get blooms throughout the summer. Many many thanks for your information and time,

The following is an exerpt from this web page.
"The Endless Summer series is unique since they produce flower buds on both the previous and current year’s growth. However, if the preceding year’s stems are killed to the ground, the new stems that emerge from the base do not yield any flowers. It is only the new growth produced from the existing stems that will develop flower buds for late summer and fall display."
