weed eradication near vineyard #864754

I am now on property with a gravel driveway that runs approx 5 feet from a vineyard (mine). The weeds growing through the gravel have not been maintained this past year and are overrunning the area. Is there a spray I can use that will not harm the vines? Thank you.

If you wish to use an herbicide, be sure to use one that grapevines are not sensitive to. You can consult the list of products and active ingredients listed for this time of year and grape growth stage in the 2024 OSU Pest Management Guide for Wine Grapes in Oregon.

When using any herbicide, you want to avoid drift of that product onto grapes. However, some herbicides may volatilize and damage grapevines, so you want avoid such products. See the following OSU resources to help determine which products to avoid:
