Soil test results #864690

Asked April 16, 2024, 12:39 AM EDT

Hello, I got back my soil test results and I'm not sure what it means when it says the recommended fertilizer is 0-0-0. Also, everything came back as very high so I'm not sure if I need to lower anything. Thanks!

Three zeros means do NOT add any fertilizer or additional organic matter. Check the requirements of the vegetables you are planning to grow as to their soil PH requirements. See:

There are additional pages on the soil test web site that will give you some background.

These questions are assigned to MN Extension Master Gardeners by computer and I do not know the soil in Plymouth. If you have not been adding fertilizer and compost to your soil, try contacting the Hennepin County Extension Master Gardeners to see if they are more familiar with your soil.
