Would like to get Mason bees into my yard for Flower and vegetable pollinating. I know flowers and fruit trees will attract them but I've never seen them in my neighborhood. Is it possible to buy Mason bees or cocoon? I have very little bees around and would like to have these around !

Expert Response
Providing food and shelter will attract lots of pollinators. It can take a few years and is most successful when neighbors are also growing nectar sources. The bees have to forage on their way to your yard. Flowers growing in the veggie plot bring the bees to the veggies.

A search for “bees for sale in MN” will provide sources for cocoons. It is best to by locally so the bees are adapted to MN.
