The egg mass is creamy tan to orangey tan. There are no nests created by insect. The egg masses are laid on any fairly flat surface- tree trunks, patio furniture, garden pots, etc..

Yuck. Nasty little things. I live near Roscommon and it is apocalyptic around here due to moths in the past and oak wilt. Trying to replant so this will help. Thank you.
