Tree information #862619
Asked March 27, 2024, 10:22 AM EDT
I'm interested in all the trees on my walking trail off Anacostia in NE. Is there a guidebook or someone that can do a tour?

Dear Timothy, here's the response to your question:
You might see if the Anacostia Waterhsed Society, https://www.
anacostiaws.org/ , is offering any programs on trees. They have an online field guide that includes some trees, https://www.anacostiaws.org/images/Files/ . The National Arboretum is also a good place to look at local tree species and they can probably recommend local guide books to trees. The Maryland Native Plant Society also offers plant identification field trips in the region, https://mdflora.org/maps/AWS_Field_Guide_Digital- 2019.pdf and local resources.
