My beautiful incense cedar has orange blobs all over.....It's about 7 ft tall, only about 4 years old d(I bought it when my granddaughter, whose middle name is "Cedar", was born. I've seen this stuff that I presume is fungus on the ground before, but never in my tree! How do I get rid of it??

This appears to be the Pacific coast pear rust/cedar broom rust which has incense cedar as an alternate host. The orange blobs are an early life stage that forms on incense cedar, which puts out spores that infect pear trees, apple trees and many other plants in the rose family.
