Hello- I prepped 3 gallons of tomatillos last fall for salsa verde making but didn’t get to it so froze the chopped tomatillos. I would like to just water bath can them to preserve for use in future sauces but can only find a recipe for canning whole tomatillos. Could I cook these ones as chopped then hot pack water bath can with the 1 tablespoon lemon juice for pint/2 tablespoon lemon juice for quarts? If so, for how long? The same times as for whole tomatillos?
Thanks,

You should be ok to thaw and heat the tomatoes to boiling and then can them with the added bottled lemon juice following the crushed tomato time in PNW 300 page 11. https://extension.oregonstate.edu/sites/default/files/documents/pnw300.pdf
