I removed a small black walnut tree from my yard last year after several of my perennials suffered and died from its effects. Is there anything I can add to my soil to promote my plants or plants I should avoid in my landscaping for awhile?

Hello
Here's a nice resource from UW-Extension on gardening with black walnuts: https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/landscaping-in-spite-of-black-walnuts/
Some resources say the juglone can stay in the soil 5+ years especially if there are still walnut roots in the soil.
