Peaches are hit and miss in Lexington. Their early blooms are often damaged by late freezes which eliminate fruit that season. They produce fruit an average of one year out of five. There are some insect and disease issues as well. Traditional tree fruits in our area will require several sprays for quality fruit. Here is a link to our peach spray schedule.
