Can you identify this insect? #859177

About the size of pencil point; found on hard surfaces such as tractor cover, tractor seat, garage cement apron. House located in middle of 5 acres of woods.

This looks like a soft-bodied (does it squish easily?), sucking insect called aphids.  There are many types of aphids and we suspect that this is a white pine aphid or the like.
Some will have wings and some will not.

During warm spells, they become more active and right now they are a good source of food for wildlife like our small native birds .

There is nothing you need to do.
