The link that is listed from 2013 is no longer available on your site.  Do you have a new paper or listing for berry suggestions for this climate?  Looking at growing Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry plants.  Thx

Kootenai County Idaho

Expert Response

When you say "this climate" where exactly are you referring to? I would not recommend growing blueberries in most of Eastern Idaho. They take too much input to grow in higher pH soils. Blackberries and raspberries do very well. Find something that has a cold tolerance of -20, and you should do okay. You can check out this link for blackberries

Or this link for raspberries

Sorry for the Climate ? without getting specific, I assumed you knew I was in Kootenai County, specifically Dalton Gardens, when I filled out the form it had my indicate County and state.  Does this change anything?  I know there are a couple "you pick em" blue berry locations in Rathdrum so blueberries appear to be tolerant to this area of climate.

I understand. The system randomly assigned you to me, and I am located in Eastern Idaho. You could certainly grow blueberries in parts of Kootinai County. For varieties, I will refer you to the following Oregon State University Page:
