Are Bonsai Lotus legitimate? #857750

Hello, I have seen online about Bonsai Lotus seeds. Before I order some online I am wondering if they are legitimate, and whether they are easy to grow in a bowl of water. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Hi, 

We are not familiar with "bonsai" lotus. It is possible that it is just a dwarf form, but Extension doesn't have information about cultivating them. Any plant sold online should ideally only be purchased from a reputable nursery. 

If the nursery or source of the seeds seem legitimate then you could try some, but unfortunately we don't have any further information about that.
