I get these small mounds of dirt in my yard. I am new to the area and haven't come across this before. I need to identify them so I know how to treat them. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so many.

Sorry for the slow reply. This is likely from earthworms. This event often happens after a good soaking rain. It is nothing to worry about, they are aerating the soil for you. The mounds can be raked down if you don't like the way they look.
