Sedum #847581

Good morning! I'm having issues with a new sedum I just planted this year, it looks like it's got big grey splotches but is otherwise healthy?

Ramsey County Minnesota

Expert Response

This looks like insect feeding damage. Without seeing the actual insect, I would say that it is probably lady beetle damage. They feed on aphids which were plentiful earlier this year.

The problem is cosmetic and will not kill the plants. Keep them watered well.  We are getting to the end of insect season.
