We found this beetle outside in our gravel today and it's bigger than any insect I've ever seen! Any idea what it is or if it is invasive?

This is one of the long-horned beetles, most likely the Ponderous Borer, Trichocnemis spiculatus.
The larva of these beetles feed in dead or dying wood from Douglas Fir or pine trees.
