It appears our beautiful tree has started to split from the high winds the other night. We're wondering if there's any way we can save it? I've attached photos. Hoping we can either bolt it together or strap around it???

I’m sorry this happened to your beautiful tree. This is a serious injury and threatens both the health and stability of the tree.
I’m not sure the tree can survive this injury. If this tree is important to you, ask a certified arborist to visit in person and ask for an honest assessment of the tree’s future. Arborists can bolt trees together, but usually it’s done with limbs, not the trunk. Strapping it together will not work; in the long run it will strangle the tree.
