I found this lone flower growing out of a gravel parking space.
The flower is about 2” in diameter.
After picking it still looks the same after 4 days. No wilting at all!
Would love to know what it is.

This looks like a Coreopsis (common names often include Tickseed), though we can't determine which exact species or cultivar this is. Several species of Coreopsis are native to the eastern U.S. but not technically within Maryland, where our locally-native species are fairly rare and a few non-native species have spread into natural areas (though not invasively).
