Hello friends, wondering if anyone can help me identify what is under my fruit tree leaves and if you know what kind of tree it is ( i think it is sour cherry?) I sprayed with a solution of a little bit of dish soap, baking soda, and mostly water.

Hi Ed,
It's difficult to see from the photo, but I suspect you have aphids on your tree. You can try to wash them off with a forceful stream of water, or you can utilize a range of sprays to kill the aphids (more information on what kinds of sprays here: https://extension.colostate.edu/topic-areas/insects/aphids-on-shade-trees-and-ornamentals-5-511/).
In regards to tree ID, could you send a clear and well-lit photo of the branch?
