What kind bug is this? #836921

I have this bug on my patio set area, I see it on my table crawling and they on my shoes and crawl up my leg smack and there is blood? What is it and what natural stuff can I use to remove it from my destiny area?

Hello Margaret,

That looks like an aphid. There are not known to bite. You can send some to me if you like so I can confirm.

To preserve and protect fragile specimens, it’s always best to submit insects in a small leak proof vial filled with rubbing alcohol or vinegar (the postal service prefers you send them in vinegar). Place the vial in a small zip-lock baggie, then in a small box or mailing tube and mail to
