Can you tell me if this is Plum Curculio? Or what is leaving the black marks on my apples?
If it is Plum Curculio, any suggestions on how to eliminate the problem? Without spraying the tree myself? I tried that one year and it was difficult to get the timing and conditions right, so I don’t think it did much good.

There are YouTube videos that are helpful also. It is a real pest. I agree spray timing is tricky. Kaolin clay works and is pretty easy to use. Although a big tree is always a challenge.
