Our beautiful sod is being overtaken by a thick blade grass fairly quickly. I am going to attach some photos. Is there some one who can identify it or a place we can send a clump? we did have an aeration last fall.

Thanks for the pictures. The one we need to ID grass, the single clump of 3 leaves, came out blurry. We need to see the tiny auricles and the collar, where the top leaf meets the other two.
Would you please try again, taking he shot about 6-8 inches away ? An in focus picture can be magnified but a blurry one will not show us what we need even when magnified.
Otherwise, yes you can send a sample to MSU Plant Diagnostic lab. There is a fee for their service. That info and how to submit a sample is on their website:
