According to UCDavis the Mariposa is another name for Satsuma. These will not self pollinate and are not self compatible. Please see the list of plum pollinators below in the graph (bottom line).

Hmmm. I’m getting conflicting information. The tag on my Mariposa says that a Satsuma will pollinate it. And the tag on my Satsuma says that another Satsuma will pollinate it.
