We believe that this is Hoary Alyssum (Berteroa incana) which is a type of madwort. It is an annual plant capable of vigorous self-seeding so you may see more of it. Some consider it to be invasive. You may want to yank it up before it goes to seed. Interestingly, it is quite toxic to horses. See the following for more details and information:
