I seeded about 8 North Georgia candy roaster squash in a greenhouse successfully, then placed them in a front yard planter about a week ago. Every day since then, they've been getting gradually nibbled away by some kind of insect. How can I give the remaining plants the best chance of survival and deter pests for this season? Ive attached a photo of one of the partially eaten squash plants to see if you can determine what the orders might be four the best strategy to take at this point.
