I had a garden center plant 2 Blue Spruce trees on October 25th. They assured me that was not too late in the year. I was told to water them every other day ( slow drip on days it was above 40 degrees. They now have brown on the tips. Need to know what I should do.

Hey Marsha,
Thank you for reaching out!
Based on the pictures, we do have some additional information for your review. It is difficult to say specifically what is happening but the following fact sheets may be helpful in diagnosing the problem. Below are 2 links: 1 for winter dessication and 1 for Ips Beetle. I am sending you the Ips Beetle fact sheet to help you assess the tree further, and if you are seeing any type of damage similar to the ips beetle.

I have also attached a pdf for the care of recently planted to trees to ensure that the tree is/has been managed properly.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
