Holly Bush spots #829074

Asked May 08, 2023, 7:35 PM EDT

We have a Holly bush that seems healthy (has new growth) and it is on the south side of our house and gets full sun. There are some tan spots on some of the leaves that have a dark border. We think it might be scorch from wet leaves getting direct sunlight but want to be sure it isn't something more serious. Thank you!

Adam,
I don't think you have anything to worry about. It looks like damage from the frost and winter. Mine did the same thing and is recovering.  I thought itcwas dead. Just keep an eye on it. It should get better. Here are some links with info for you.  I hope this helps.
