I planted my Rhododendron is spring of 2021. It looks like an animal gnawed it to the ground and there are no leaves or growth showing now that it is spring in Minnesota. Is it dead? Should I water? Fertilize? Leave it alone?

I would wait until mid June to see if it shows any growth. There isn’t anything to do for it except to make sure it gets an inch of water per week. It may come back from the ground.
