Boxwood Blight? #824798

Asked April 07, 2023, 4:50 PM EDT

We have several boxwoods in our garden. Some are large, and have been here since we moved here 5 years ago. Others are young as they were planted in the last 2 to 3 years. All of the shrubs, about 13, show signs of what I fear is Boxwood blight. One of the oldest, well established ones is covered with what appears to be blight. Many of the leaves are covered with brownish spots with rings around them. Some of the stems have lost leaves. I assume it is likely too late to save it with any form of treatment. If we remove it immediately, is there a chance we can rescue the more lightly infected boxwoods by just trimming the limited number of stems that show blight and/or treating them with a fungicide. I appreciate your advice on this matter. Thank you so much for your help.

This is not boxwood blight.  This probably the boxwood leaf miner, ugly, but not as harmful to the boxwood.  Please see this article -https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/boxwood_leafminer_a_serious_pest_of_a_favorite_landscape_plant
