Thanks for reaching out to Extension.  It can be very difficult to identify insects from a picture with accuracy especially without a size reference.  I did find a great fact sheet that may assist you.  https://extension.umn.edu/insects-infest-homes/ants  As one of the ants of concern is a carpenter ant that can cause property damage, I recommend you contact an exterminator to come evaluate the situation.
