My lawn is Bermuda grass . Starting last year another type of grass has been invading in patches. I have tried pulling it out but have been unsuccessful . Should I aggressively cut the patches out to bare dirt . Does commercial Bermuda seed work to regenerate?

the weed is probably Dove weed. Monument 75WG is a versatile herbicide for use in warm-season turf lawns.
