Animal bedding and compost safety #823069

My neighbor is giving me their rabbit droppings that is in this bedding. Is the bedding sage for adding to my compostvtoo? It is too difficult to separatecte poo from the bedding.

Thank you for your question.  Yes; rabbit droppings are safe to put in compost.  In fact, they (together with the bedding) are safe enough to use as a fertilizer (and mulch) directly on your garden.  This article explains why:  https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/bunny_honey_using_rabbit_manure_as_a_fertilizer
