I was in my property near Higgins lake this weekend clearing scrub trees and I noticed all my oak trees are covered in these white worms.
Last year was the first year I owned this property and one weekend in the spring the air was thick with these guys floating around on silk strings. It was like a horror movie.
1 what are they?
2 how can I get rid of them?
3 how can I prevent them?
4 would bats or a certain type of bird eat them?
