Expert Response
I'm not an apple expert. However, the wilting/blackening of the leaves is consistent with symptoms of bacterial fire blight. The disease is specific to plants in the rose family (Rosaceae) and infections also occur in landscapes on crabapples and Callery pears.
I would not base anything that you do on a "picture diagnosis." You should send samples to our OSU Plant and Pest Clinic for confirmation: https://ppdc.osu.edu/
